The third album from the absolute ambient catalogue is an epic fusion of ambient chill and electronica from the Brighton based collective Pan Electric.
Join Matt Coldrick as he ventures more into melodic grooves without losing the tapestries and colours that defines the absolute ambient sound. Conscious Pilot features the exceptional Rhodes piano talents of Neil Cowley (Green Nuns, Zero 7, Brand New Heavies). Lush Beach Boys–esque vocals from Brighton’s Dan Burke, and performances from Julie Kench (Swingle singers) create ethereal, ghostly, almost nostalgic passages.
The magic dust comes from Pedal steel master, BJ Cole (The Verve, Sting). His contribution adds a golden texture that helps define the unique style of the album
