Based in central Paris, the luxurious bar and courtyard café of The Hôtel Costes has for a long time been a hang out for the rich and famous. The opulent surroundings go hand in hand with the carefully selected music, creating a lasting impression on everyone who walks through the front doors. Wanting to give music lovers across the globe a glimpse, Hotel Costes the compilation series was born. With Hotel Costes Volume 14 set for release on 5th November through One World Music, prepare yourself for an indulgent audio journey to the city of love.

With more than a reference to Parisian luxury and refinement, the series to date has sold more than four million albums, each new volume bucking the trend of piracy issues due to its collectability and timeless musical direction.

Avid followers of the series will have noticed the series jumped from volume 12 to 14. Like many of the worlds most recognised hotels - including Hotel Costes - who choose to forgo the 13th floor, it was decided that for the series also, best they follow suit.

Lovingly compiled and mixed by resident DJ of The Hotel Costes since 1997, Stéphane Pompougnac, Volume 14 is no exception, with all previous titles in the series also created by him since volume 1 was released in 1999. With more than 25 years as a working DJ, spinning for many of Paris’ biggest occasions including Les Venues de la Mode (the fashion Oscars) and events by the likes of Gucci and Yves Saint-Laurent, it appears the series is in very safe hands in deed.
